A Story of a Private School Teacher #MustRead

Too much discussion on social media about private teacher & tution fee! There are two pararel opinions! One side they want No Tution fee & others want people must pay.
You choose private school not govt. School for your kids for his/her betterment & choose the best one in your locality.
Well, if a person can afford to pay fee He should clear his outstanding without giving a second thought! Those who can’t afford obviously they can’t pay it as of now. We should not create a narrative that will kill the private sector. We should remember these teachers have guided your kids in hard times now it’s your time to support them during these hard times.
One of my beloved friend, Showkat Ahmad wisal shares his feelings & I am sharing it with you people.
I am a private school teacher
My profession is sacred as I transfer knowledge to future generations. The darkness of ignorance vanishes from society because of a teacher. I teach my students the best way of living. I make them aware about different aspects of life. I encourage their good habits and correct their wrong ones.
I teach them moral values, the life of great personalities, the rise and fall of emperors, the inventions and discoveries of science, the principles of mathematics, the art, the theology, Geo science, physical education etc. When I see my students qualifying tests of life, facing challenges, serving society, helping poor and needy etc I feel proud.
The doctor around you, the engineer building physique of nation, the judge doing justice, the accountant maintaining books, the banker, the artist etc are all my taught. I boost my students to approach life in a positive way.
My salary is far less than a class fourth government employee. I never receive grants like govt employees, my promotion neither depends on seniority nor any competitive exam. But I never protest on roads. Never do I go for strike. I never bow before any one except God. I live with dignity for I am the role model for my students.
Private schools come up with mind blowing results and the key factor is teacher. They are flourishing because I serve them whole heartedly. Parents handover their raw material to us and we like a skill ful master mend the material into a master piece.
Alas! My society turns its face away from me. My society needs doctors, engineers, lawyers, judges etc but they don’t need me, the one who can make all.
Half of the year passed, I am still waiting for salary. I have stopped dreaming of future plans, I only want diginity. Don’t I have right to live with diginity? Am I not part of this society? Does my society want me to drop my pen from my hand?
My family, friends, relatives etc dislike my profession, why? My beloved Prophet (PBUH) called himself a teacher , then why my society fails to recognise my position.
Neither I blame private school owners nor parents. I am waiting for my students and disciples to grow up and take the driver’s seat.
I am desperately waiting for that day when my student changes this nasty system. Let me suffer for my profession but the day is near when real essence of education will pour like rain drops on my society.
