ICMR Recruitment 2023: Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)-NIRTH is looking for eligible and interested candidates for the post of Project Research Associate for the UR category and Laboratory Assistant for the OBC category. There are 02 vacancies open for the given post. As per the official notification of ICMR recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for the post of Project Research Associate is 40 years and for the post of Laboratory Assistant is 28 years (Relaxable by three for OBC as per DoPT GOI). The appointment is purely made on a temporary and contract basis for a period up to 01.07.2023 but may be extended till one year before the completion of the project. Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of up to Rs.47000.
According to the official notification of ICMR recruitment 2023, candidates will be selected on the basis of a walk-in interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified for the interview. The interview will be held on 05.04.2023 at 9:00 AM onwards. The venue of the interview is ICMR-National Institute of Research in Tribal Health, Nagpur Road, Post Garha, Jabalpur Pin-482003. Qualification and Experience for ICMR Recruitment 2023:
As per the official notification of ICMR recruitment 2023, the required qualification and experience as given below-
For Project Research Associate-
- Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after M.S./ M.Pharm/ME/ M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Desirable-
- Preference will be given to those who have training/ research job experience in Immunology, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Dengue pathophysiology, Neuroimmunology, other virus diseases or related field (At M.Sc. and Ph.D. levels). Candidates having first-author publications will be given preference.
For Laboratory Assistant-
- High School or equivalent with five years experience in a related field from a Government Institution or recognized Institute or certificate of 01 year of training in the relevant area or ITI or National trade certificate of National council for vocational training and successful completion of ATS in relevant trade from a Government recognized board.
- Intermediate with science subject and B.Sc. shall be treated as equivalent to 2 and 3 years experience respectively.
Desirable-
- At least 01 year of experience in supervision or carrying out Fieldwork/ laboratory work in Govt., Autonomous, PSU, recognized organization/ projects in the relevant areas, experience in dengue research.
Salary for ICMR Recruitment 2023:
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary as mentioned below-
- The selected candidates for the post of Project Research Associate will get a monthly salary of Rs.47000 plus 18% HRA.
- The selected candidates for the post of Laboratory Assistant will get a monthly salary of Rs.17760.

In accordance with the official notification of ICMR recruitment 2023, the appointment is purely made on a temporary and contract basis for a period up to 01.07.2023 but may be extended till 01 year till the completion of the project.
