Admissions to Indira Gandhi National Open University are ongoing for the January session 2023-24. Candidates must complete their online admission process before 28 February 2023, the admission process will be completed online on the IGNOU official web portal. IGNOU Courses like BA, MA, BLIS, MLIS, MAPC & more are available for IGNOU admission.
Students can submit their application forms for January 2023 session at the official portal www.ignou.ac.in. Here candidates can also check IGNOU Admission Status.
For sessions 2023, IGNOU admissions are based on the merit scores in the previous qualifying exam. Entrance examinations would be used for some specific degree programs in 2023-24 sessions such as B.Ed, MBA, PhD, Post Basic BSc Nursing, and more. Those students who are interested to enroll for various certificates or diplomas, and some advanced diploma programs of duration 6 months to 1 year. Students can apply by the last date given by IGNOU officials for admission 2023-24 (28 February 2023).
IGNOU admission process is completely online and just one click away from interested candidates. Those candidates who want to register themselves for their interested program should pay an admission form fee of INR 300 for all the IGNOU programs for 2023-24 sessions except Ph.D., B.Ed & Post Basic BSc Nursing courses.
For IGNOU admission 2023-24 session eligibility criteria for all UG programs like BA/BCom/BSc require completing the educational criteria, which say that students should have completed 10th and 12th classes from a recognized board. And students gain at least 50% marks in their 12th class.
For IGNOU PG admission 2023-24 session, eligibility criteria for courses like MA/M.Com/M.Sc must complete a graduation or bachelor’s degree from a UGC-recognized university. Students should obtain at least 50% marks in their final graduation year. After completing these eligibility criteria candidates are able to pursue their selected PG programs
Steps of Registration for Admission:
You can fill out the application form online, which is fast and easy to do.
Step 1: Visit the IGNOU official website – https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
Step 2: Click on the option “Click Here For New Registration”.
Step 3: Fill in the required registration details
Step 4: Choose your Username (between 8 to 16 characters)
Step 5: Create your alphanumeric password (must be 8 to 16 characters long)
Step 6: Type the Captcha
Step 7: Click on “Register”
Till here, the registration process has been completed. Now, the process of filling out the Application Form will begin:
Step 8: Now, log in yourself by entering the username and password created at the time of registration.
Step 9: Fill in your personal and academic details correctly.
Step 10: Upload the scanned documents ( like mark sheets, passing certificates, caste certificates, etc.)
Step 11: Pay the Application fee (through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking)

Scanned Copy of Passport size Photographs (size must be less than 100 KB)
Scanned Signature (size must be less than 100 KB)
Scanned photo copy of Age Proof (size must be less than 200 KB)
Scanned photocopy of required mark sheets (size must be less than 200 KB)
Scanned photo copy of Experience Certificate (size must be less than 200 KB)
Scanned photo copy of ST/SC/OBC Category Certificate, if any (size must be less than 200 KB)
