During the opening ceremony of the Qatar World Cup, a verse of the Qurʾān was recited.
The boy reciting the Quran named Muftah was born with Caudal Regression Syndrome, a rare disorder that impairs the development of the lower spine.
Many suggested his mother to abort Muftah but she refused. Mutafa is now entrepreneur with his famous ice cream brand across Qatar.
