NeuCoins Rewards
Every time a user makes a purchase, they are rewarded NeuCoins which are equal in value to Re 1.
These can be redeemed on booking flights via AirAsia, purchases made through Big Basket, Croma, Tata CliQ, Westside and Tata 1mg.
This is a major USP of the app since it aims to reward every transaction, unlike its rivals.
However, in order to use the NeuCoins, users will need to use Tata Pay to make the purchase, which works similar to Amazon Pay or Paytm wallet.
NeuPass
Another feature worth exploring is the NeuPass- a membership program for users where they earn 5 per cent Neucoins every time they shop on the Tata Neu app.
To use this, users will have to select Tata Pay as a payment method at checkout.

UPI Payments
Users can make UPI payments on the app.
They can also pay at offline Kirana stores by scanning the QR code.
The app also allows users to send money, transfer money to themselves, transfer money to accounts, check balance, request money, manage auto pay etc.

User Experience
It is free to install from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, however it is beset by some glitches which can be explained by the massive demand it must be experiencing at the moment.
After downloading the app, users must log in with their mobile number and OTP.
The interface appears simple and is user friendly.
