Today is International Day of Happiness

Today is the International Day of Happiness.
It was established by the United Nations General Assembly on 28 June 2012.
The world’s average happiness rate has decreased drastically over the past few years. The concept of measuring happiness was started in Bhutan.
The report is prepared on indicators such as per capita income, GDP, health, social cooperation, mutual trust, freedom to make life-related decisions, and generosity. The concept of International Happiness Day is based on the Gross National Happiness (GNH) concept of Bhutan. Bhutan has declared a public holiday on March 20 so that family persons can live together.
