Army Ordinance Corps Recruitment 2023
Army Ordinance Corps, under the Ministry of Defence, has sought applications from 10th pass youth for recruitment to 1793 posts of Tradesman Mate and Fireman. The application process has already started at aocrecruitment.gov.in.There are a total of 1249 posts of Tradesman Mate out of which 508 posts are unreserved.124 posts are reserved for EWS, 337 OBC, 187 SC, and 93 ST. There are 544 posts of Fireman in which 222 posts are unreserved.54 are reserved for EWS, 147 for OBC, 81 for SC, and 40 for ST.

AOC Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria 2023
Education Qualification-Ordinary 10th pass qualification has been sought for both of the above posts. Therefore, a huge number of applications are bound to come for this recruitment.No professional qualification certificate has been sought in the essential qualification. However, the candidate who has a trade certificate will be given preference in the tradesman recruitment.
In case more applications are received, candidates will be shortlisted for a physical test on the basis of marks obtained in 10th.
Candidate should apply only for one post for which he/she considers himself/herself suitable. The examination for both posts will run simultaneously.

Salary
- Tradesman Pay – Level – 1, Rs.18,000/- to Rs.56,900/
- Fireman Pay – Level – 2, Rs.19,900/- to Rs.63,200/
Age Limit
- The age limit for these posts has been fixed at 18 to 25 years.SC and ST will get five years of relaxation in the maximum age limit and OBC will get three years of relaxation.
AOC Recruitment Selection Process
First, there will be a physical test and successful candidates will be called for a written test.
Candidates for tradesman posts will have to run 1.5 Km in 6 minutes and carry 50 kg weight for 200 meters in 100 seconds. Females will have to run 1.5 Km in 8 minutes 26 seconds and carry 50 kg weight for 200 meters in 3 minutes 45 seconds.
Height Qualification for the post of Fireman Length – 165 cm Chest – 81.5, Expanded 85 cm. Weight at least – 50 kg. For Fireman posts, candidates will have to run 1.6 Km in 6 minutes. Females have to run 1.6 Km in 8 minutes 26 seconds. Will have to lift a person weighing 63.5 kg and run for 183 meters in 96 seconds. A 2.7-meter log jump will have to be done. Must climb a 3-meter vertical rope.
The written test will be of 2 hours duration in which 150 questions will be asked for 150 marks.50 questions will be asked from General Intelligence Reasoning, 25 questions from Numeric Aptitude, 25 from General English, 50 questions from General Awareness. The paper will be MCQT type. One-fourth mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
